Booking Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to accommodation bookings for Rock Farm Slane made through the CastleDAO accommodation website at accomodation.castledao.ie.
The accommodation is operated by GutoFloodo Ltd., an Irish limited company.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean GutoFloodo Ltd. “You” means the person making the booking and all guests included in the booking.
Please read these terms before making a booking.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to accommodation bookings made through accomodation.castledao.ie for stays at Rock Farm Slane during the CastleDAO event accommodation window:
23 August 2026 to 7 September 2026
By making a booking, you agree to these terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any house rules or arrival instructions provided to you.
2. Who can book
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
The person who makes the booking is the lead guest. The lead guest is responsible for:
- providing accurate booking information;
- paying for the booking;
- making sure all guests in the party follow these terms and house rules;
- any damage caused by the group;
- any extra costs caused by the group; and
- communicating with us about the booking.
3. Booking process
A booking is made through the following process:
- You submit a booking request through the website.
- You pay the full booking amount through Revolut.
- Once payment clears, your booking is confirmed in your CastleDAO account and visible under “My bookings”.
- Revolut may send you a payment receipt by email. We do not currently issue a separate booking confirmation email.
Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully completed.
Please check your booking details under “My bookings” carefully and contact us immediately if anything is incorrect.
4. Payment
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payments are processed by Revolut.
We do not store your full card details on our systems.
If payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the booking.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Cancellations, refunds, no-shows, early departures, date changes and property unavailability are handled under our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.
That policy forms part of these Booking Terms & Conditions.
6. Maximum occupancy and visitors
The number of guests stated on your booking is a hard maximum.
You must not exceed the guest number shown on your booking unless we agree in writing before arrival.
No extra overnight visitors are allowed.
You are responsible for all visitors and guests connected with your booking, even if they are not staying overnight.
We may refuse entry, remove guests, or end the stay without refund if the maximum occupancy is exceeded.
7. ID and arrival checks
We may ask the lead guest, and any guest in the party, to show valid photo ID on arrival or during the stay.
We may refuse check-in if:
- the lead guest is not present;
- valid ID is not provided when requested;
- the booking information appears false or misleading;
- the number of guests exceeds the booking; or
- we reasonably believe the stay may breach these terms or house rules.
8. Damage and guest responsibility
You are responsible for treating the property, farm, accommodation, fixtures, fittings, furniture, equipment and shared areas with care.
You are responsible for damage, breakages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or losses caused by you, your guests, or your visitors, except for fair wear and tear.
We do not currently take a security deposit. However, this does not limit your responsibility for damage or losses.
We may charge you for reasonable repair, replacement, cleaning or recovery costs where damage or loss is caused by your group.
Please report any damage or issues as soon as possible so we can deal with them properly.
9. House rules
You and your group must follow these house rules:
No smoking indoors
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the accommodation or any indoor shared areas.
Respect the farm and other guests
Rock Farm Slane is a working farm and shared accommodation environment.
You must:
- respect other guests, staff, neighbours and the local area;
- follow safety signs and instructions;
- stay out of restricted or private areas;
- use paths, parking areas and facilities responsibly;
- dispose of rubbish properly;
- avoid damaging land, animals, crops, buildings or equipment; and
- behave safely and respectfully at all times.
Pets and dogs
Pets, including dogs, are not allowed unless we have approved them in writing before arrival.
Assistance dogs are permitted where required by law. Please contact us in advance where possible so we can make suitable arrangements.
Legal and safe behaviour
You must not use the accommodation or site for illegal, unsafe, abusive, threatening, disruptive, or antisocial behaviour.
You must not bring dangerous items, hazardous materials, or anything that may create a risk to people, animals, buildings or the site.
11. Breach of house rules
If you or anyone in your group seriously breaches these terms or house rules, we may:
- refuse check-in;
- require one or more guests to leave;
- terminate the stay;
- contact security or law enforcement where appropriate;
- charge for damage, cleaning or other losses; and/or
- refuse any refund.
Examples of serious breaches include:
- smoking indoors;
- unauthorised parties or events;
- excessive noise;
- damage to property;
- threatening or abusive behaviour;
- illegal activity;
- exceeding maximum occupancy;
- refusing to follow reasonable safety instructions;
- bringing pets without approval; or
- putting guests, staff, neighbours, animals, property or the farm at risk.
12. CastleDAO event and accommodation booking
Your accommodation booking is separate from the wider CastleDAO event.
If the CastleDAO event is cancelled, postponed, changed, moved, or if you choose not to attend the event, your accommodation booking remains valid unless we tell you otherwise.
Refunds or cancellations in that situation are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We are not responsible for event tickets, travel, transport, meals, alternative accommodation, missed activities, or other costs connected with the wider CastleDAO event unless the law requires otherwise.
13. If the accommodation becomes unavailable
If the accommodation becomes unavailable or unsafe, we will deal with this under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
This may include situations such as serious maintenance problems, storm damage, flooding, fire, utility failure, safety concerns, accidental double booking, or other circumstances that prevent us from providing the accommodation.
14. Our liability
We are responsible for providing the accommodation with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for:
- losses caused by your own actions or omissions;
- losses caused by other guests or third parties outside our reasonable control;
- loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by our negligence;
- travel, transport, event tickets or other arrangements connected with your stay;
- business losses, lost profits, lost opportunities or indirect losses;
- disruption caused by events outside our reasonable control; or
- your failure to follow these terms, house rules, safety instructions or arrival information.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This may include severe weather, flooding, fire, utility outages, government restrictions, public health restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, transport disruption, emergency works, safety incidents, or other events we could not reasonably prevent.
Where such an event affects your booking, we will handle refunds or alternatives in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
16. Accuracy of information
You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
We may cancel a booking or refuse check-in if information provided is false, misleading, incomplete, or materially different from the actual booking circumstances.
17. Privacy
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and your GDPR rights.
18. Contact

Please include your name, booking dates and booking reference if available.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
The Irish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
